I had plans to use Softer Than Brittle in a recipe but guess what my family ate them all up BEFORE I could create a fabulous snack. They sure did, shaking my head. Softer Than Brittle is that good. I do want to give some ideas on how to incorporate this brittle into other snacks. With back to school just around the corner, I know I will be looking into snacks I can add the Softer Than Brittle into for the kids (and husband because I have a feeling he is the one who ate the most).
Add Softer Than Brittle to:
- Granola (as a snack or breakfast)
- Top of ice cream
- Sprinkle on top of brownies or cake
- Add to yogurt
- Pancakes
- Smoothies
- All by itself!
My daughter who stole the Pecan Softer Than Brittle bag said the brittle is soft but not soft like chewy just soft enough to eat and not hurt the teeth. My husband who stole all the other bags said the Almond Softer Than Brittle was his favorite. Now I didn’t get to try any, that is how fast they were gone.
